It was a shiny afternoon. We went to “Studio Classroom” which have published English magazine for over 45 years. When we arrived, there was a miss waiting for us. She is very kind and active. Later, she led us to a briefing room and showed us a clip of documentary about Studio Classroom history, and I was impressed by the rapid grows of technology. Many years ago, they had to produce the magazine by hand, but now they use machine instead of handiwork. Then, we visited the studios and met two teachers, Ken and Bob. It is a job really different from others. After the teacher explained how and what they work, we realized that working in the studio isn’t easy. Sometimes they have to play a show, and if it is necessary they must memorize those scripts. After visiting the studio, we went back to the briefing room and played game which can improve your word reorganization with two teachers, Steven and Liz. Finally, we said goodbye to the teachers and Studio Classroom. Then, all of us took a picture with them. For me, it was an unforgettable field trip memory!

Because of the life style changed, our pace is more and more quick and our eating habits are changed. Now, some people even don’t eat breakfast.

After I finished this project, I realized that eating breakfast is very important. For student, if you don’t eat the breakfast, you won’t have the energy to focus on the lesson, in other words, you may lose your attention in the class. Besides breakfast, there is a bad habit that we didn’t notice it—eating too much snack. It’s easy to eat many snacks, but it’s hard to lose calories. In order to keep us healthy, we had better eat less junk food and eat more healthy food.

Training the Doggy

December 13, 2007

Doggy is really mischievous. In order to train them, you have to be patient and strict. A training plan may take several months, so it’s a long-time training. In training, you need to let doggy know they should take orders. Here are some tips to let them follow the orders easier.

  • 1.     In training, you can prepare some food to attract them. If they follow your order, you can give them food to reward them.
  • 2.     If they don’t follow your order, you can punish them, for example, oral warning or physical punishment. But remember punishment is always the last method.
  • 3.     Other outdoor activities like flying saucer, walking dogs can also be a kind of training.
  • 4.     Doggy is vulnerable, so the training shouldn’t be too hard to them to achieve; otherwise, before you lose your patience they’ll lost their patience first.
  • 5.     Try to make them identify with you or you won’t train them well.

Every dog has different character and habits, so if you can make good use of their qualities, the training will be easy and enjoyable for them.

Get along with your cat

December 6, 2007

Cat is a secret animal. They seem to have a magic power—cute, but actually they are independent, proud and lazy. To get along with them, you should treat them like your friends because they have a big pride. If you treat them like a pet, they might use their paws to attack you. In order to build a strong relationship with your cat, here are some tips for you to follow:

1. Cats are afraid of strangers, so before you get closer to them “Don’t touch them!”

2. If you can, feed your cat by yourself. This can improve your relationship.

3. Don’t forget about them, sometime cats need a lot of care.

4. Every cat has its personality, so you have to accept the way it is.

5. Most of all, be honest to them and love them

If you can follow those tips, I think you will soon to get along with your cat.

To be a good student

November 15, 2007

In order to be a good student I must study hard and pay more attention in the class. If I can finish the things what I should do, I won’t regret about the pass. Beside I also want to be a useful person and challenge myself. I hope that God could give me a change to prove myself again. Then I shall not live in vain.

Make friend with your pet

November 15, 2007

Keeping a doggy or kitten may brother you, but it’s really comfortable to be with them, isn’t it? Nowadays, more and more reports point out that keeping a pet can also to be a kind of treatment for our emotion. Psychologists assumed a theory: “People who keep a pet are more tend to feel positive feelings”. This told us: “Pet isn’ t just a pet, it might be a member of a family.” So, for some of us, pet is more and more important to us. We can also cure many diseases like melancholia, Alzheimer’s disease and something else. Although the cure seems to be difficult, actually it’s easy to reach. By playing` touching` chatting to the animals, the patient will soon be healthy again, isn’t it magical? Now, we use pet to cure those who suffered, but raising pets also brings us some negative impacts, like stray dogs, animal abuse and something else. But don’t worry about this. If there is sunny Sunday, just enjoy playing flying saucer with your dog. I think it will like it!

Planting the trees

September 22, 2007

This week, our class planted 6 trees which are called white champaka. At first, I think planting a tree is very easy but actully it’s not easy at all. First, we have to dig a big hole for the tree then flood the hole and make them stay wet. Digging the hole was the most difficul part because it was hard for us to dig deep and break the rocks. Hot though the weather was, we still dug. Finally, the hole was deep enough to load the tree then we watered the hole and planted the tree. In the end, although we were tired, we still think it was fun and meaningful. Maybe 20 years later when I back to the school, I’ll be exciting when I see the seeding grow to a big tree. That will be a wonderful memory of my high school life, isn’t it?
